Give the guy a break for Allah’s sake! What is all this smear [campaign all about?] Just to shame and humiliate him! All this without one iota of evidence from Gambia Government. Yet you the same people eating and sleeping on Mai Fatty have ample evidence at the Janneh Commission of Inquiry with your friends and family (Amadou Samba, Ida Uber, Sirah Wally-Ndow, Fatou Mass Jobe, Njogou Bah etc), people who helped Yahya Jammeh to steal and misappropriate millions of tax payer’s money, grants and our national pension funds! Yet none of you is attacking them because you know them or they are relatives of your friends! And you have the AUDACITY to claim independence and righteousness when you are being selective in who you attack and who you don’t.
If President Barrow comes out with an explanation as to what happened, then you can all hang the guy, but until then where is the presumption of innocence until proven guilty. I guess that does not apply to Mai because from day one you have hated him anyway.

Corruption is unacceptable but atleast wait for evidence before publicly judging and condemning.

Thank God Almighty Allah/God for the sister’s balanced post on the “Mai Fatty Scandal” and many other Economic, Political and Social issues confronting the Gambians and Gambia of past and present. If I am fired from a job, I would insist on a letter of termination or separation and that letter would be inclusive of the Reasons Why I am fired. Mai Fatty is allegedly an Attorney or Lawyer and a “Crusader”. His timid and lackluster denials not withstanding, does not bode well or in favor of Mai Fatty. No finger pointing or bravado. This is not the Mai Fatty Gambians have been seeing and hearing from on all matters of State, whether or not the issue is under his Portfolio or not. All Level headed and Objective Gambians Should thank President Barrow for saving the Gambia from further Corruption and Corruptive Practices as well as the Politics of “Fassaya” and Marginalization. All the Tears be they Crocodilian or not will not Camouflage the fact that Mai Fatty’s blinded followers want to believe in, is a little man with an apetite for Power, money, and luxury goods and Environment. How much such things cost and how they are as achieved is nothing this guy Concerns himself about. For those the gods will Punish they first render Naked and Shamed. Hopefully, Mai Fatty’s lesson will be henceforth learnt by all regardless of ones view point or Ethnic and Political Affiliation. One cannot change a Vulture into an Eagle.
Mr Mai Fatty was holding a senior position, he is a party leader, and vibrant member of the collation 2016, so if he is fired mysteriously by our beloved leader Mr Barrow, so definitely my Gambian sister the world will shake with different opinions, so My good sister kindly saw Mr. Mai Fatty the road to the ombudsman if it still around in the Gambia or please lets pray that Mr. Barrow to have the courage once again to clear the air of misconceptions
Mama, I would like to associate myself with your position. In fact all the evidences available so far are that Mai is a victim of usual Gambian hypocrisy, smear campaign, backstabbing and cynicism. While he was busy trying to deliver for the country there were others behind trying to smear, frame and destroy him. They have succeeded for now but they will never triumph.
It is unfortunate that those people playing that type of games in Yahya Jammeh’s government are still around and playing same games. But they will be ultimately exposed. I think Barrow need to be mindful of such people. They stop at nothing!
