Kairo News wishes the entire Muslim Ummah (community) a happy Eid Mubarak. The Muslim holy Month of Ramadan fast is completed today. The New crescent moon has been sighted in many countries. The Mufti of Australia and the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia all announced the sighting of the new moon.

Kairo Radio has dedicated the entire Ramadan to lectures and sermons on Islam, the Quran and virtues of our religion. The lectures conducted by the respected Detroit Imam Momodou Ceesay dealt with many subjects, including , the etiquettes of fasting, stories from the Quran, questions and answers from listeners and the night journey of the Noble Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

It is Sunnah for Muslims to dress well on the day of Eid, and apply nice perfumes. It is also very important to take the whole family to the Eid venue.

We hope that, our little efforts yielded a better understanding of Islam, clarify the Deen and make us better practicing Muslim in a globalized world. The efforts to present the clear understanding of Islam is geared towards preparing people for all challenges in this life and the hereafter.

We thank Imam Momodou Ceesay for his time and effort, we hope that, his explanations make us better Muslims. Along-with the regular daily Islamic sermons, kairo news also brought you: Religion, secularism, tradition and politics dialogue. The discussion brought many panelist to shed light on important issues like secularism and politics.
